Fellowship

We are created for community and connection.

Build community with us!

While our lives of faith are personal, they are not private. We are meant to live out our faith in community. We hope you’ll join us in building community together!

Coffee Hour after Worship

Following Worship on Sundays, you are invited to Coffee Hour at 11am for treats, coffee, tea, and juice. We hope you will stay awhile and connect with folks you’ve known for a long time and folks who are new to you!

Fellowship Events

Calvary offers fellowship both at the church and off-site. Join us for baseball games, church luncheons, retreats, and many other opportunities to meet friends who share a life of faith.

Upcoming Fellowship Events

Looking for a fun, relaxed way to spend a Friday night? Come join us for Calvary’s All-Church Game Night! We’ll gather for an evening of laughter, friendly competition, and connection with folks of all ages.
We’ll have a variety of board games ready to go—from classics to new favorites—but feel free to bring a game you love and share it with the group. A light spread of food and snacks will be provided, and if you’d like, you’re welcome to bring something to share!
It’s sure to be a casual, joy-filled evening—and just a friendly warning: some of our younger players may challenge you to a round of Jenga, Uno, or even GaGa Ball. Consider yourself forewarned (and invited to join the fun)!
Come as you are, bring a friend, and get ready for a night of community, connection, and play. We can’t wait to see you there! Questions? Contact Joann Lee at joannlee@calpres.org or Jeff Smith at jeffsmith@calpres.org.
Church Night Lenten Studies - Handel’s Messiah in Lent
And we shall be changed. Starting February 26, Thursdays in Lent from 5:30-7:30pm
Additional groups will be offered on Tuesdays at 1pm and Sundays at 11:30am, only for those who cannot make it on Thursday. We encourage everyone, however, to attend Thursday nights whenever possible!
This Lenten Season, our “Church Night” Lenten Bible Study is for both the biblical seeker and the music lover. We will explore the scriptural texts of Handel's Messiah for Lent. While the first part of the Messiah is about the birth of Jesus, this musical journey is well-suited for Lent because it was originally written as an Easter offering, with its second and third parts focusing on Christ's Passion, death, resurrection, and ascension, making its themes of sacrifice, redemption, and glory ideal for the Lenten journey towards Easter.
Lenten Studies this year will be the focus of Church Nights which will be held on Thursdays of Lent from 5:30 – 7:30pm. Mark your calendars for 2/26, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19, 3/26, 4/2. Childcare provided for infants & toddlers, and special Lenten programming offered for youth and children.
This lenten journey will culminate with sections of Handel's Messiah presented in worship, with our Chancel Choir, soloists, and orchestra, on Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter.
Additional groups will be offered on Tuesdays at 1pm and Sundays at 11:30am, only for those who cannot make it on Thursday. We encourage everyone, however, to attend Thursday nights whenever possible!
Calvary’s Fridays Women’s Group meets on the 1st & 3rd Fridays • 2pm - 3:30pm
Looking for some new friends and lively conversation? You’ll find a warm welcome at the Calvary Friday Women’s Group. We meet informally in the church lounge or patio the first and third Fridays of the month, 2 – 3:30pm to get to know each other, exchange ideas and experiences, enjoy light refreshments, and sometimes plan excursions.
Please contact Rev. Joann Lee (joannlee@calpres.org) with questions. Or just come to check us out. We’d love to welcome you! Those who identify as women welcome!
