Faith In Action

Because we are Christ’s hands and feet.

Church Beyond Sunday

Where is God calling You? For many people, being part of a faith community includes serving. Calvary offers ways to use your gifts of time and talent to make a difference in the community and around the world.

Volunteering and serving opportunities include working with Calvary’s Matthew 25 Partners for Change and other local nonprofit partners, as well as our Racial Equity Initiative and Living Sanctuary ministries. The church cultivates community partnerships where others can share their wisdom and guide our ministry.

Sharing Your Gifts of Time & Talent

In our commitment to Christ, we live our faith through service by partnering with 3 local non-profit organizations that share our commitment to furthering justice and equity in our communities.

Upcoming Faith in Action Events

Join Calvary in feeding the hungry and unhoused in our local community. The church has a long-standing volunteer commitment, in months that have a 5th Saturday, at Martin de Porres House of Hospitality to prepare, serve and clean up after a hot soup lunch for San Francisco’s hungriest citizens.
Martin’s, as it is affectionately known, is a free restaurant, serving breakfast and lunch six days a week. Martin’s mission is to serve in the spirit of compassion, understanding and love.
