On June 1, Calvary Senior Adults will gather via Zoom at 11 am for what we hope might be the last one we have to do via Zoom! Instead of a program with an outside speaker, we will invite our Seniors to share from their experiences over the last year. What was a blessing? What was something that you really did not like? What did you learn about yourself or about others during our time of isolation and social distancing? We’ll need to keep our comments brief, so anyone who wants to share something will have a chance.
We are hopeful that we can have in person movie matinees in July and August, and that we can resume our regular, weekly Senior Adults gatherings in Calvin Hall in September. Stay tuned for more details!
If you are on our Senior Adults email list, you will receive an email with Zoom log in information the Wednesday before this program. If you are not on our Senior Adults email list and would like to be join us, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Personal Alarm Devices: Calvary’s Deacons have made available personal alarm devices (aka “screamers”) for anyone who would like one, while supplies last, Monday through Friday, 10am-3pm. Since the front desk is unstaffed at the moment, there is a phone number posted on the door. Call the number to be admitted to the building. All staff know where the alarms are located. If you’d rather receive one by mail, please email CharleneThai@calpres.org or call (415) 346-3832, ext. 415.
