Where Art Meets the Earth: A look at the intersection of climate change and environment with the Arts.
Join us for part two of an online discussion via Zoom of how several artists are using their gifts to help us see the world with new insight.
Part 2: Sunday, May 16 at 11:30 am – Former Lines Ballet dancer & Ballet Master and landscape-embedded artist Meredith Webster will join us for a discussion of how our bodies and the way we use them express and affect our connection to the earth. Meredith will speak briefly on her relationship to environmental issues with a Q&A session afterwards. This program will include showing of the moving, five-minute dance film Meredith created during a month-long residency at the Jackson (WY) Art Center and the words she wrote to accompany that piece. Please note that this work contains nudity as an artistic expression.
