Stronger Together: Healing After Charleston

At our evening service we are joined by our new friends from Grace Tabernacle in the Bayview for an evening of worship and music. Bishop Ernest Jackson, the Grace Tabernacle music team, and gospel singer Vernon Bush led our service.

Following the tragic shooting at Mother Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, and subsequent church arsons, Calvary and Grace Tabernacle have prayerfully begun to build a relationship, understanding we are stronger together. We will be discerning how we can collaborate to be a brighter light in the world.

While this development means we will be postponing the Johnny Cash, “Walk the Line” service originally scheduled for the 12th to Sunday evening September 13, we enjoyed a powerful, inspirational evening.
