The Martin de Porres House of Hospitality (or Martin’s) at 225 Portrero Ave. is a free restaurant, serving breakfast and lunch to those in need during the week and brunch on Sundays.

Calvary has a standing volunteer reservation at Martin’s on all months with a fifth Saturday. Like this month. There are two shifts:

9 – 11:30 am (primarily food preparation);

11:30 am – 2:45 pm (serving food, busing tables, general clean-up)

Our greatest need is the second shift.
