Calvary's congregation is an open community seeking to grow in Christian faith through worship, education, service and fellowship.

To fulfill our mission, we strive to be:

Christ centered
To make our faith in Jesus Christ the core of our existence.
To be accountable to Jesus and allow Him to influence and guide our life’s decisions.

Spiritually Vital
To be awake to God’s presence in our lives.
To work towards a stronger relationship with God.
To be constantly renewed and refreshed with the power and grace of our living, loving God.

Evangelistic
To exhibit through word and deed a life that benefits from, and freely witnesses to, the belief that Jesus is Lord.
To share our belief in God with others.
To encourage others to make personal commitments to Christ.

Service to Others
To serve God and God’s people with our time, talents, and treasures.
To love and nurture others as God loves and cares for us. To put the concerns of others before our own.
To care for others who may not have the ability to care for themselves.
To manage our church’s resources so we can continue to serve future generations.

Boldly to follow Jesus’ example in leading our lives.
To keep our faith despite difficulties.
To welcome the expression of divergent views while remaining faithful to the community.
To listen and follow God’s lead in times of uncertainty.

Justice
To respond to others with compassion, not judgment.
To acknowledge human rights as universal, and to support aspirations for human justice unbiased by social, political, economic, and racial distinctions.
To serve our community without turning away from the needs of others whom we see as unlike ourselves.
