| Children's Choir |
Calvary's Children’s Choir meets every Sunday at 9:00 a.m., immediately following the Children’s Meditation in the 8:45 worship service. All children from Kindergarten to 3rd grade are welcome to join the choir regardless of singing experience or ability.
During choir rehearsals, children will learn how to sing, experiment with instruments, and explore their
relationship with God through songs of faith and
Bible songs. We will teach the basic
building blocks of music through kinesthetic
activities that involve the whole body in
learning.
Children's Choir is under
the direction of Sherbonné Barnes-Anderson, who has been a member of Calvary for nineteen years. She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, a Master's Degree in Vocal Performance from the
San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and is a member of Chorister's Guild. |
