From Marin county Drive over the Golden
Gate Bridge to Lombard Street. Continue 4 blocks
on Lombard to Steiner. Turn right on Steiner and
go up the hill 7 blocks to Pacific Avenue. Turn
left on Pacific, go one block to Fillmore, turn
right on Fillmore. Calvary is on the right side
in that block.
From the East Bay Take the Bay Bridge
towards San Francisco. Take the first exit to
the right, marked Fremont Street. Stay on
Fremont Street and cross Market Street. Go 1
block past Market Street and turn left onto Pine
Street. Follow Pine Street about 2 miles (west)
to Fillmore Street. Turn right onto Fillmore
Street and travel (north) 5 blocks to Jackson
Street.
From the Peninsula Via Rt. 280, drive
into the City, following Golden Gate Bridge
signs. Continue through the Golden Gate Park on
the Park Presidio By-Pass and then Park Presidio
to California Street. Turn right on California
and continue east for 27 blocks to Fillmore
Street. Turn left on Fillmore and go four blocks
north to Jackson Street.
From the Peninsula Via Rt. 101, drive
into the City. Take Mission Street exit, follow
signs for Van Ness Ave/Golden Gate Bridge. Drive
north on Van Ness Ave until Jackson Street. Turn
left on Jackson and drive 7 blocks west to
Fillmore Street.
Public Transportation MUNI lines #22
Fillmore, #24 Divisadero and #3 Jackson all
service the Fillmore/Jackson Street corner.
Parking Sunday Mornings is available at
the Newcomer High School lot, ? block east of
the church on Jackson Street. Additional
validated parking is available at the CPMC
Hospital garage on Clay Street, between Fillmore
and Webster. Some on-street parking is
available.
Parking Special Events Public parking is
available at the CPMC Hospital garage for a
nominal charge. Sponsors of special events
(weddings, concerts etc.) sometimes make special
arrangements for parking at the Newcomer High
School lot. Some on-street parking is available.
Kit Stewart Chapel Some events are held
in Calvary's Chapel, rather than the church's
main sanctuary. For those events, guests should
enter through the Chapel entrance that is
located on Jackson Street, one-half block west
of the church. Members of a wedding party or
other participants may enter through the
Education Building entrance on Fillmore Street.
