Drama Workshops

"The Drama at Calvary" is a fellowship where both the beginning and experienced actor may explore the process of acting without the pressure or time commitment required for a full production of a play.

Led by acclaimed stage director and actor Val Hendrickson, members of the drama workshop meet in Calvary's Fillmore Room every Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. to work on monologues and short scenes. Each member is invited to practice the craft of acting at his/her own pace with a monologue, or to join others who meet regularly to enact scenes from the world's drama.

All you need to join are the basic skills of memorization and recitation. It's a great workout for the brain, and challenging and fun way to gain confidence and sharpen public speaking skills!
