Each fall, members of the congregation attend an all-church retreat. Held at Mt. Hermon in the lovely Santa Cruz Mountains, these annual retreats are special gifts of fellowship, learning and spiritual growth.

Each year Calvary hosts a keynote speaker (or two) who delivers the main lessons and presentations during the retreat. We also enjoy time together relaxing over breaks and meals, hikes in the woods, yoga, board games and climbing walls.

On the last night of the retreat, we anxiously await our annual all-ages talent show, "Saturday Night Alive", when Calvary's own American Idols are discovered!

"Our Soul's Work"

This year's all-church retreat theme is "Our Soul's Work" during which Reverends Jeff Gaines and Ruthanne Svendsen will lead us on this pilgrimage of soul work during our joy-filled and contemplative retreat. Listen to how God is calling and guiding you in this life. For Calvary kids, KidsArt will also be offering a drawing class.
