New Member Classes |
New member classes are held throughout the year
to provide prospective members with an
opportunity to learn more about Calvary, the
Presbyterian Church, and their faith in general.
Classes are generally held for three consecutive
Sundays from 8:30 - 10:45 a.m. Classes
cover the following topics:
. The Reformed tradition and the
Presbyterian Church
. Basic beliefs shared by all Christians
. Basic beliefs shared by all Protestants
. Basic beliefs shared by the Reformed
tradition
After the three classes are completed, a
celebratory New Members Luncheon is held on a
Sunday afternoon, at which Statements of Faith are
also shared.
