Calvary's historic building, originally built in 1854 and relocated--brick by brick--to its current location in 1904, includes a number of rooms available for large and small concerts, theatrical performances, meetings and seminars, and more. Calvary Sanctuary

Calvary's Sanctuary is home to our own renowned chancel choir, and is the primary performance venue for the San Francisco Bach Choir and the San Francisco Academy Orchestra. It seats 1,050 audience members.

Kit Stewart Chapel

Our chapel provides an ideal atmosphere for smaller concerts, recitals, meetings and lectures. Capacity: 170, including 20 balcony seats.

Calvin Hall

Calvin Hall can be used for large special events and celebrations, such as school graduations, banquets and lectures. It seats 150 for sit-down dinners or 200 for receptions/lectures/meetings. Includes fully-equipped caterer's kitchen and private garden area.

Library Lounge

This warm, inviting room is perfect for small recitals, neighborhood meetings, intimate post-performance receptions and seminars. Includes adjacent kitchen, access to private garden, and fireplace. Capacity: 50.

Lower Level Theater

Our theater space is a large, multi-purpose room with a built-in stage and theater-grade lighting and sound systems. Features a direct entrance from Jackson Street and rooms for prop storage or costuming. Ideal for theatrical instruction, rehearsals and performances. Capacity: 100 audience members.
